It celebrates to victory of the Good over the Evil and Light over Darkness.
People celebrate by lighting many clay lamps called ‘diyas’ around their homes. Diwali festival extends beyond cultures and religions, encompassing and surrounding all. That makes Diwali the most famous festival in India. The 5 days of Diwali have something for everyone.
The festival of Lights Pods each symbolizes one of these traditions. The Pods are inspired by the Diwali/Festival of Lights Festivities. They are in no way a straight translation of a tradition that is so rich and has so many layers.
This beading pattern provides colour diagrams and word charts to create the 5 FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS 3D Peyote Pods.

Pod 5 has 4 different sides.
Included are also the step by step instructions with clear 3D images of how to create a 3D Pod in peyote ("Little 3D Peyote Pod").

It includes a list of needed materials and colour codes. The Pod is beaded with Miyuki Delica's. You can also use Toho Treasures (but don't mix them, as there is a slight difference in size).
The beads or finished product are not included, this is the digital pattern to make your own 3D Peyote Pod.
